About This House

Seeking a third roommate for a contemporary and secure three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom condominium located in Playa del Rey. The room is available immediately or around December 1, 2025, with a potential earlier move-in date. This is a professional, responsible, and quiet household.

We are looking for a roommate committed to a stay of at least six to twelve months. A refundable security deposit of $800 and a non-refundable $200 cleaning fee are required upon move-out. Applicants must provide proof of income, submit to a basic background check, and furnish a copy of their credit report (a free report from Credit Karma is acceptable). The sublease agreement operates on a month-to-month basis with a 30-day notice requirement for either party, though we prefer someone interested in a longer-term arrangement.

Rent Includes All of the Following:

  • Cable television and wireless internet
  • Dishwasher and gas fireplace
  • In-unit washer and dryer
  • Microwave
  • Community pool, spa/hot tub, and a small fitness center
  • Ample shared storage, including a large garage shed and a locked bicycle cage

The bedroom measures 10.5 by 12.5 feet and features a newly shelved, mirrored closet measuring 3 by 6 feet. It comes furnished with a new IKEA bed frame, a comfortable new queen-size mattress, and a dresser. You are welcome to decorate the space to your liking. The very clean bathroom, which includes a shower and tub, would be shared with one other roommate. The room has a large window that provides abundant natural light. One single parking space is available in the gated, underground garage for an additional $50 per month, which is negotiable. Otherwise, street parking directly in front of the home is plentiful, well-lit, and safe. Please note street sweeping occurs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

The location offers excellent proximity to major freeways (105, 405, 10, 90, and 91), the beach (just three blocks away), and various bus, transit, and metro services.

It is also close to LAX, making it ideal for individuals working at or near the airport or attending LMU or Otis College. An easy 30 to 40-minute commute provides access to most areas of Los Angeles, downtown, and Long Beach.

The common areas are minimally decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes various countertop appliances.

I maintain a quiet and drama-free lifestyle and have a very friendly and affectionate cat. The current roommates split their time between working from home and the office. Everyone is respectful and shares in the household responsibilities.

I am a kind, considerate person who treats others with respect. I am not a partier but do occasionally have friends, family, or guests over. You are welcome to do the same, provided your guests are respectful of the home. However, please no long-term guests. I work part-time from home and enjoy staying active, going to the gym, reading, and traveling. I am seeking roommates who have a positive outlook, do not take life too seriously, enjoy occasional socializing, pay rent on time, are responsible, and are easy to get along with. You must be comfortable with pets. My primary requests are no drama, loud parties, or drugs. Smoking is permitted outside only; it is not allowed inside the home.
