Primary Duties
Reporting directly to the Vice President of University Relations and Development, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for the following:
- Serve as a key point of contact and liaison between the Vice President, senior management, University Relations and Development teams, and external partners.
- Oversee the coordination and execution of high-level meetings, travel arrangements, and events for the Vice President and Associate Vice Presidents.
- Facilitate donor and prospect interactions, which includes managing outreach efforts, scheduling appointments, and preparing presentation materials.
- Collaborate in managing donor relations for the Long Beach State Foundation Board, taking the lead on significant projects and strategic endeavors.
- Work in tandem with the Division Administrative Coordinator to ensure efficient administrative operations, including office management, reception duties, and guest services.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and four years of related professional experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience in an administrative support capacity is highly desirable.
- Proven capability to handle intricate schedules, juggle multiple competing demands, and exercise sound judgment with sensitive and confidential information.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with a diplomatic approach suitable for high-stakes environments.
- High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management software, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational competencies, with the skill to orchestrate activities across various teams and stakeholder groups.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: The offered salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually.
