Warehouse Supervisor in Commerce

About This Job

We are looking for a seasoned Supervisor to manage day-to-day activities within our manufacturing plant. This position calls for a proactive leader who excels in a dynamic production and warehouse setting, consistently upholding standards of safety, quality, and output.

Primary Duties

• Direct and organize all daily manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Monitor order completion, inventory management, and material movement.
• Create and modify work schedules to align with production needs.
• Oversee labor hours and payroll via an electronic timekeeping system.
• Train, mentor, and assess team members to enhance performance and development.
• Guarantee adherence to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
• Uphold equipment and facility standards; address basic mechanical problems.
• Produce reports on production, labor, and performance for management review.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity within manufacturing or production.
• Solid understanding of materials handling, inventory control, and logistics.
• Working knowledge of OSHA rules and safety compliance.
• Mechanical competence and capability to help troubleshoot equipment.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• Prior experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
