Global Processing Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in payment processing solutions, is seeking a Retention and Customer Service Associate. The position offers an hourly rate of $23 to $26 and includes benefits such as life, medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with 401k options.
The company provides credit card processing services to a diverse range of businesses, including internet-based, retail, mail/telephone order, and home-based operations. It enables merchants to accept various payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, check guarantee services, loyalty cards, and gift cards. Due to rapid national growth and expansion, the firm is actively recruiting a qualified candidate with at least one year of experience in retention or customer service.
Position Overview
This in-house role requires a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, and is not a remote opportunity. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing retention for all merchant accounts.
- Providing customer service and fostering customer and employee engagement.
- Identifying and resolving customer concerns.
- Contributing to strategy development.
- Handling inbound and making outbound phone calls.
- Operating standard office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners, and managing email.
- Providing support to both in-house and external sales agents.
- Completing various additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in retention or customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual ability is advantageous.
- A typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must be a collaborative team player.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
