Role: Merchandise Associate (Swag Sales Team)

Become a member of our Merchandise Swag Sales Team and assist in delivering the distinctive KAR experience at events across the country.

Key Duties

• Handle the loading and unloading of event equipment, including boxes, display racks, and banners. This role requires the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Assemble and arrange merchandise displays, effectively creating a pop-up retail environment.
• Manage transactions using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage backup stock, and communicate restocking requirements for future events.
• Showcase promotional material on lobby television screens using dedicated event applications.
• Present a professional, approachable, and positive demeanor when interacting with attendees.
• Travel is necessary for this position, typically from Thursday evening through Monday morning.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with app-based point-of-sale and other technical systems.
• A cooperative attitude, reliable work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to remain on your feet for extended durations, averaging 25 to 40 hours per weekend.
• Must have availability to travel from Thursday to Monday.
• A current government-issued identification card or passport is mandatory.

Earnings and Schedule

Compensation varies with experience, ranging from $200 to $1000 per event.
The hourly wage is between $16 and $18.
The seasonal period commences in February 2026.
