About This Job

We are looking for a qualified English teacher to provide academic assistance to middle and high school students. The focus will be on enhancing skills in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and preparation for standardized tests. Our student body consists of international pupils and academically driven high schoolers who require precise teaching and robust scholarly guidance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliable communication, consistent working methods, and proficiency in instructing both general academic English and content specific to examinations.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in reading, writing, grammar, and essay composition.
• Prepare learners for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, and relevant state assessments.
• Assist international students with English language progression and homework tasks.
• Mentor high-achieving students through advanced curriculum and college-level writing standards.
• Deliver unambiguous and constructive feedback on student assignments.
• Adhere to a reliable timetable and be punctual for all scheduled sessions.
• Comply with all established company protocols and instructional frameworks.

Requirements

• A Bachelor\'s degree or higher qualification is mandatory.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring middle school and high school students.
• Excellent proficiency in English reading, writing, and test-taking techniques.
• Capability to effectively communicate with students for whom English is a second language.
• Must be methodical, patient, and skilled at delivering instructions in a clear, sequential manner.
• Ability to commit to a regular and stable working schedule.
