Position Overview
EngAGE is seeking energetic instructional leaders to guide groups of active older adults. This position is for a 1099 Independent Contractor. We are interested in teaching artists specializing in the following areas: fitness and wellness (such as yoga, tai-chi, dance, general fitness, movement, or ZUMBA), arts and creativity (including drawing, painting, writing, acting, or singing), and lifelong learning (for example, technology, computers, nutrition, cooking, or languages).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly or biweekly instructional sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate a diverse range of participants.
- Maintain communication with the on-site Program Director.

Training & Support
An on-site tour of the community facilities will be provided before classes begin. You will receive support from both EngAGE staff and the on-site management team.
Commitment & Schedule
The role requires fulfillment of the agreed-upon class schedule. The time commitment is typically one hour per week or two hours every other week, with specific details to be determined based on flexibility. Scheduling is adaptable, with availability on weekday mornings through evenings. Weekend sessions can be arranged upon request.

Required Qualifications
- Must be at ease teaching active older adults.
- A clear LiveScan background screening (FBI/DOJ) is required prior to starting service.
- Possession of a valid driver\'s license.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in instructing and leading classes for older adults.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- A genuine passion for health, wellness, and/or creative pursuits.
