In-House Architect Wanted for Construction Company (San Pedro)

Position: In-House Architect Required for Construction Firm

Location: San Pedro, California

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Visit municipal offices to obtain necessary permits.
2. Submit architectural plans to city authorities for review.
3. Develop design plans for single-family residential properties.
4. Monitor and follow up on city approvals for submitted plans.
5. Perform design work, take measurements, produce sketches, and create layout plans.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of experience in the construction industry.
• Possession of an architectural license is strongly preferred.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient with computer software and technology.
• Ability to effectively communicate with engineers and Title 24 consultants to ensure plan accuracy and compliance.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete residential construction process from start to finish.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation and polygraph examination.

Compensation:

A monthly salary of $8,000, with additional bonus opportunities.
