We are currently seeking to employ a Full Charge Bookkeeper with specialized experience in manufacturing accounting to manage our company\'s financial records. This is a full-time role that demands familiarity with a manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning system beyond the capabilities of QuickBooks. In this dynamic position, your duties will encompass, but not be limited to, the following:
Responsibilities
- Conducting manufacturing cost accounting audits of entries.
- Performing inventory reconciliation.
- Managing tariff drawback processes with U.S. Customs.
- Ensuring sales tax compliance.
- Overseeing the complete cycle of accounting operations for the company.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Maintaining the precision of the general ledger.
- Analyzing inventory and cash flow.
- Investing excess cash.
- Evaluating insurance policies, building costs, product liability, and earthquake coverage.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales and marketing expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Tracking foreign currency fluctuations and their impact on costs and global pricing.
- Analyzing representative commissions.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or a related field and/or a Bookkeeping certification.
- Over seven years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper.
- Mandatory cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting, bookkeeping, and manufacturing cost accounting software.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of tax accounting compliance software, such as Avalara.
- Experience with tariff drawback procedures.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
This position is not remote. Job Type: Full-time. Salary: $75,000, with final compensation contingent upon experience and qualifications.
