An established certified public accounting firm located in Encino is seeking a part-time general office assistant and receptionist to support its tax administration team. The position offers flexible scheduling, making it suitable for college students. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, capable of balancing multiple priorities, communicating effectively, and meeting deadlines. Previous experience in an accounting environment is beneficial. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required, while familiarity with QuickBooks or the Lacerte tax software is a plus.

Responsibilities will include answering telephones, filing documents, data entry, scheduling projects, scanning and copying materials, and interacting with clients. Training will be provided for tax return assembly and managing the reception desk phone lines.

Experience working in a CPA firm is considered an advantage.
