CPA/EA/Tax Preparer (Part-Time) (El Segundo)

A South Bay certified public accounting firm is looking for skilled tax preparers to become part of our expanding team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in preparing income tax returns for both individuals and businesses.
• Solid understanding of tax filings for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and across multiple states.
• Must be comfortable interacting with clients and managing projects independently.
• Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational and research capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct reviews of tax returns and financial projections.
• Address inquiries and correspondence from tax authorities.
• Complete filings for payroll and sales taxes.
• Keep all working papers and documentation orderly and precise.

Skills & Software

Must be proficient in using Lacerte, QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.

Compensation

Starting wage is $50 per hour.

Schedule

This role requires 20 to 30 hours of work per week. Availability on weekends during peak seasons is necessary.

Location: This is an in-office position based in El Segundo, CA.
