We are seeking a courteous, professional, and dedicated Accounting Clerk and Cashier to join our active office in Van Nuys. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a helpful disposition, and a strong commitment to professional standards. This role involves handling cash, debit, credit, and check payments utilizing a point-of-sale system or cash register. Key responsibilities include balancing the register, providing change, managing invoices, documenting sales, organizing files, processing returns, and related tasks.

Duties

  • Complete sales transactions
  • Receive various forms of payment
  • Compute and dispense change as needed
  • Ensure the cash drawer contains sufficient change and request replenishment when necessary
  • Address customer inquiries regarding services or products
  • Balance cash drawers and sales documentation
  • Provide customer service support
  • Potential to cover shifts at other locations

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is highly advantageous
  • Previous customer service experience is beneficial
