About This Job

Café de Olla Restaurant in Monrovia, California, is currently seeking experienced COOKS with a background in both Mexican and American cuisine.

Our establishment is highly popular and busy, so we are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:

• Demonstrable experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
• Responsibility and punctuality.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in preparing both American and Mexican breakfast items, including:
  1. Eggs prepared in all styles (over easy, over medium, scrambled, and others).
  2. Pancakes, French Toast, and Omelettes.
  3. Chilaquiles, machaca, tacos, tortas, and burritos.

Position Details

• Pay rate of $20 per hour.
• Payment is issued by check (not cash).
• Morning shift schedule.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Approximately 25 to 30 hours per week.
