Prose Kitchen & Bar is looking for a seasoned server capable of providing refined, welcoming service while actively enhancing revenue. The expected average check per guest is $80 or more.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability in upselling and suggestive selling techniques
• Verifiable history of achieving $80+ average checks in comparable dining establishments
• Solid understanding of food and wine, or a strong willingness to learn quickly
• Skill in assessing guest dynamics and adapting service style accordingly
• Dependable, professional, and genuinely hospitable demeanor

Responsibilities:

• Provide thoughtful and deliberate guest guidance
• Execute confident upselling of pairings, wines, and featured items
• Deliver efficient, polished, and high-quality service
• Collaborate seamlessly within a close-knit team

BARTENDER – Efficient, Organized, and Hospitable

We are also seeking a bartender who can maintain an orderly and efficient bar while offering exceptional guest care.

Requirements:

• Excellent guest engagement and sales abilities
• Proven skill in upselling and increasing check averages
• Knowledge of wine, or the capacity to learn rapidly
• Quick, tidy, and systematic approach behind the bar
• Background in upscale, high-volume restaurant environments

Responsibilities:

• Attend to bar guests with both warmth and accuracy
• Keep the bar area impeccably clean and well-organized
• Upsell wines, beers, and beverage pairings
• Efficiently manage service bar demands
