SALAD PREP / SASHIMI COOK

Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Available for part-time or full-time hours, with evening and weekend shifts required.

We are searching for a meticulous and efficient individual to join our team in a sophisticated, fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with our culinary management to prepare our renowned raw bar offerings, including sashimi, salads, cold appetizers, and various garnishes.

Primary Duties:

  • Prepare salads and sashimi daily.
  • Adhere to strict guidelines for plating, portion sizes, and cutting techniques.
  • Keep the cold preparation station clean and well-organized.
  • Assist other kitchen staff during peak service times.
  • Uphold consistent quality standards while working efficiently.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • One to two years of prior experience in salad preparation, garde manger, or raw bar operations is desirable.
  • Proficient knife handling abilities.
  • Capable of following instructions and conducting oneself professionally.
  • Must have dependable transportation and a record of punctuality.
  • A valid Food Handler’s certification is required.

HOT LINE COOK (WOK/GRILL/SAUTÉ)

Compensation: Up to $25 per hour, based on experience.

Work Location: Crustacean Beverly Hills

Schedule: Full-time positions are ideal; must be available for evenings and weekends.

Our upscale, high-volume kitchen is looking for a skilled hot line cook. You will be responsible for preparing signature dishes with precision and speed, operating wok, sauté, grill, and fry stations.

Primary Duties:

  • Operate a specific hot line station, such as wok, sauté, grill, or fryer.
  • Prepare all dishes consistently according to the Chef\'s specifications.
  • Oversee station preparation, inventory sheets, and overall organization.
  • Maintain strict cleanliness and adhere to all food safety protocols.
  • Assist the expeditor and communicate effectively throughout service.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Two to three or more years of experience on the hot line in an upscale or high-capacity kitchen.
  • Proficiency with wok or sauté techniques is a plus.
  • Must perform well in high-pressure situations.
  • Dependable, diligent, and a cooperative team player.
  • A valid Food Handler’s certification is required.
