¡Salud! is a new coffee and cocktail bar with a Latin-inspired theme, set to launch in Venice, California.

Start Date: December 9th, 2025

Barista Responsibilities

  • Calibrating and crafting coffee and tea beverages in line with ¡Salud!\'s established recipes.
  • Preparing house-made syrups and tonics in advance.
  • Creating drinks with both efficiency and professional skill.
  • Processing customer orders using the Toast point-of-sale system.
  • Providing friendly and welcoming service to all patrons.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay is an hourly wage determined by experience, supplemented by a shared daily tip pool.

Requirements

  • A genuine desire to advance your understanding of specialty coffee and guest service.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, including follow-through, scheduling, and attention to detail.
  • Must possess a current California ServSafe certification.
  • Availability for morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.
  • Ability to work independently when necessary, while also being receptive to guidance and asking questions.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Willingness to assist with cashier duties, table service, and food running.
  • A refined coffee palate and proficiency in adjusting extraction for various brewing techniques.
  • Background in sales and high-volume operational settings.
  • Previous experience in other hospitality or service industry roles.
  • Experience with home brewing and developing recipes using alternative ingredients.
  • Experience in coaching others to improve their coffee and tea brewing skills.
