Soup du Jar is an emerging boutique food company specializing in farm-to-table soups, sauces, bone broths, and dressings. Our products are distributed primarily through farmers markets and online delivery. We focus on healthy, fresh ingredients—our offerings include vegan, vegetarian, and organic meat options. Sustainability is also a core value; we provide financial incentives for customers to return the glass jars used for packaging.

Founded in the Conejo Valley, we currently operate at farmers markets in Brentwood, Hollywood, Marina del Rey, Mar Vista, Pasadena, Playa Vista, Torrance, and Westlake. As we grow into several Orange County markets, we are seeking friendly, outgoing individuals with warm smiles and positive personalities to represent our booth. A passion for food is a definite plus!

Each market is held one day per week, typically on Saturday or Sunday. For a standard market, you will meet our team in the Torrance area, load your vehicle with products, and drive to a market location in the Newport/Irvine area. Your vehicle must be spacious enough to carry multiple coolers, a canopy, tables, and other vendor setup materials—a pickup truck or similar vehicle is ideal.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating the booth, then breaking it down at the end of the event before returning to the Los Angeles area to unload. Most markets run from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, depending on the location. Opportunities are expected for one or both weekend days.

Farmers market patrons are wonderful, genuine, and engaging. Over time, strong customer relationships develop—be prepared for the meaningful connections that form while working these markets. It is a truly enjoyable experience!

Daily compensation includes a base rate, travel pay, a gas allowance, and an additional bonus based on product sales per event.
