Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Team Member to concentrate on wash and fold operations. This involves sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging customer laundry, while also helping to preserve our orderly and pleasant atmosphere. The position combines practical laundry tasks with excellent customer service and teamwork.

Standard shifts are 5 hours in the morning (7 AM to 12 PM or 8 AM to 1 PM), adjusted according to need and preference.

Additional hours later in the day may occasionally be available, but the majority of work is scheduled for the morning.

Responsibilities

• Carry out wash and fold services: receive, sort, wash, dry, fold, and package laundry with attention and accuracy.
• Correctly label, track, and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery.
• Welcome and help customers with drop-offs and pickups; serve as the welcoming representative of Los Feliz Laundry.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supplies in work areas and at machines.
• Work cooperatively with team members and follow management guidance to ensure consistently high quality.

• Trainable and keen to learn—prepared to be coached by our laundry specialist and develop expertise.
• You follow instructions effectively and uphold high personal standards for every order you handle.
• A genuine laundry enthusiast—someone who appreciates the care, texture, and satisfaction that comes from excellent laundry results.
• Approachable, dependable, and upbeat; you like helping customers feel at home.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Reside nearby or can commute reliably (having a vehicle is beneficial).
• Available for morning shifts (7 AM–12 PM or 8 AM–1 PM) at least three days weekly; full-time availability is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a team and accepting guidance from younger managers.
• Previous experience in laundry, retail, or customer service is helpful, but we will train the right individual.
