PM/NOC Shift Caregiver (San Fernando Valley)

About This Job

Our team is currently seeking dedicated Caregivers for evening and overnight shifts.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and execute personalized care plans and activities of daily living for residents, adhering strictly to the guidelines of your professional certification or license.
• Promptly address resident call signals and other community alerts.
• Foster compassionate relationships with residents, supporting their independence and self-sufficiency.
• Provide services as detailed in each resident\'s individual care plan.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of all care provided.
• Perform a visual safety inspection for all assigned residents at the beginning of a shift and provide a comprehensive handoff report to the following shift.
• Report any changes in a resident\'s condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely fashion. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies to prevent the spread of illness. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and assist with housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Identify and report any concerns in the resident\'s living environment to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Uphold resident rights and promote dignity, demonstrating respect for all individuals regardless of background, lifestyle, or health status.
• Recognize and respond to the psychosocial and behavioral needs of residents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving role is required.
• Must be dedicated to upholding health and safety standards.
• Capable of performing light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
• Demonstrate reliability and strong organizational skills.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Exhibit a positive, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
• Have the physical endurance necessary for the role.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary.

Work Schedule

Available shifts include the overnight period from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM and the evening swing shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
