Comfort Keepers In-Home Care is actively seeking dedicated and experienced caregivers for both live-in and hourly positions to serve clients in Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and nearby regions. We are looking for professionals skilled in assisting with daily living activities and providing non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and other adults in need of care.

Position Details

Live-In Caregivers are required to stay in the client\'s home for the duration of their assigned shift, which typically spans two to four consecutive days. This is a live-in arrangement for the shift period, not a permanent relocation. We also require flexibility to work hourly shifts in addition to live-in assignments.

We operate throughout Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and surrounding locales, including Agoura Hills, Baldwin Hills, Calabasas, Camarillo, Culver City, El Segundo, Hollywood, Los Angeles, Malibu, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, West LA, Woodland Hills, and many other cities.

Compensation and Benefits

Live-In Shifts offer a daily pay rate ranging from $520 to $565. Highly experienced live-in caregivers working two to four consecutive days can earn up to $2,260 for a four-day assignment.

Hourly Shift pay scales from $17.90 to $30 per hour, with shorter shifts potentially paying the higher rate.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Duties may encompass a wide range of support services, such as:

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Fall prevention and safety supervision
• Medication reminders
• Transportation and driving to errands or appointments
• Meal preparation, accommodating special diets, and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping tasks
• Care for clients with Dementia or Alzheimer\'s
• Mobility assistance and transfers
• Oral care and personal grooming
• Showering, bathing, and bed baths
• Dressing assistance
• Care for bedbound clients, including repositioning
• Toileting assistance and incontinence care

Position Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Clear background check

Available Schedules

Hourly shifts are available across various time blocks:

• Morning shifts: Generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Afternoon shifts: Generally between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM
• Overnight shifts: Generally between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts: All hours
• Emergency Fill-In Shifts: All hours, with bonus opportunities available
