The role involves recording patient vital signs and managing initial intake procedures. The assistant will monitor obstetric patients throughout their pregnancy, verifying all required tests are completed according to the scheduled prenatal timeline. Duties will also include performing phlebotomy and preparing for in-office diagnostic tests, such as non-stress tests and glucose tolerance tests.
