We are seeking an energetic, positive, and enthusiastic team player to assist in managing a skilled home health agency and its non-medical department. A BSN or MSN degree is preferred, as is prior management experience within home care. Key responsibilities include conducting home visits across all service areas—the agency covers Los Angeles, Ventura, the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita/Lancaster, and Orange County—to oversee private duty field staff. The role also involves assisting the ADPCS and QA Nurse with updating Plans of Treatment and auditing clinical documentation.

The RN will be responsible for updating and supervising home chart paperwork, making necessary corrections with support from the QA/QI nurse. The manager must be available to work either from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and must have flexibility for both schedules. This is a Monday through Friday position, with some weekend requirements, and includes taking administrative on-call duty.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with field staff regarding physician orders and to follow up with contracted pharmacies. We need a high-energy individual who can motivate and supervise non-medical field staff, make independent decisions, and handle crises calmly by gathering all necessary information before acting.

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term career to grow with our company and who can collaborate effectively with all agency departments. Daily meetings, held one to three times per day via Zoom, include staffing coordinators, the personnel department, and the billing department. A hands-on management style is essential; the candidate will help clerical staff with case staffing and assist the Administrator in business marketing efforts, including conducting Zoom meetings.

Please note: There is no OASIS involvement, as the agency is licensed without Medicare, and our patient population is primarily middle-aged, with some pediatric cases. The RN Manager will also assist in providing educational classes and orientation for field staff, both via Zoom and in person.

A positive attitude, excellent people skills, a supportive approach toward other office staff, and strong computer proficiency are required.
