Onsite Apartment Manager and Maintenance Technician, Live-In Position (Los Angeles)

We are seeking a diligent, dependable, and experienced Onsite Manager to assist in supervising a modest apartment complex situated in South Los Angeles. This role requires residency on the premises and provides complimentary or reduced rent, determined by your qualifications and background.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily property functions and resident interactions.
• Perform routine repairs and upkeep tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, flooring, and cleaning.
• Maintain the property in a clean, orderly, and market-ready condition.
• Serve as a liaison between management, vendors, and residents.
• Assist in coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, as well as rent collection processes.

Desired Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on experience in property maintenance and repair work.
• A reliable, organized, and professional demeanor.
• Capacity to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Must reside on-site.

Compensation Details

Eligible candidates with expertise in specific areas may receive up to a full rental waiver. Relevant skills include plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, roofing, painting, cleaning, and administrative duties.

The extent of the rental discount will be calibrated according to your skill proficiency and overall contribution. Opportunities for additional incentives based on performance may also be available.
