Position Summary
Carlo Inc. is looking for an engaged and forward-thinking Community Manager to become part of our dynamic 31-unit apartment community located in Studio City. This position will play a key role in supporting day-to-day functions, guaranteeing resident contentment, and improving the general quality of life within our properties.
Desired Qualifications
Ideal candidates for this position will have:
- A minimum of one year of background in sales or leasing.
- A solid base in sales techniques and closing deals, supported by a history of proven results.
- A requirement of a strong credit history.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with Yardi, RentCafé, and aaalist is considered an advantage.
- An understanding of California Fair Housing Laws is beneficial, though not required.
- Clear, polite, and refined communication abilities, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
- Superior organizational talents, self-initiative, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A professional demeanor, optimistic outlook, and a collaborative spirit are greatly appreciated.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule as necessary.
- Possession of dependable transportation is essential.
Primary Duties
As a Community Manager with Carlo Inc., your main duties will encompass:
- Leasing and Sales: Presenting available units, hosting open house events, aiding in leasing processes, preparing and completing lease contracts, and overseeing rent payments.
- Resident Engagement: Providing exceptional resident service by quickly responding to inquiries, solving problems, and handling notices and lease renewals.
- Property Oversight: Coordinating resident move-ins and move-outs, liaising with contractors and maintenance personnel, and preserving the tidiness and attractiveness of shared spaces.
- Operational Assistance: Aiding in daily property management tasks, upholding company policies, and scheduling unit turnovers to ensure vacant apartments are ready promptly.
- Communication: Sustaining excellent dialogue with residents, vendors, and the property management team to elevate the overall resident experience.
