About This Job
We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Welder specializing in GTAW (TIG) welding techniques to become a member of our crew. The perfect applicant will be capable of welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to satisfy rigorous quality criteria and project requirements.
Primary Duties
- Execute GTAW (TIG) welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components in alignment with project guidelines.
- Understand blueprints, diagrams, and technical directives to guarantee precision in welding operations.
- Get materials ready for welding through necessary cleaning, cutting, and shaping.
- Perform quality checks on finished welds to verify adherence to established standards.
- Uphold a tidy and secure workspace, following all corporate safety policies.
- Handle and upkeep welding apparatus, instruments, and machinery to keep them in excellent working order.
- Work cooperatively with the team to achieve project timelines and production objectives.
Necessary Skills and Background
- Demonstrated background as a GTAW (TIG) Welder.
- Competence in welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Skill in reading and comprehending blueprints and welding notations.
- Exceptional focus on specifics and a dedication to superior craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of safety norms and practices within a welding setting.
- Welding certification (for instance, from AWS or ASME) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift items weighing as much as 40 pounds.
- Must be at ease working in diverse environments, such as high temperatures and tight areas.
- Must possess excellent hand-eye coordination and manual agility.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with optional overtime on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
