A manufacturing firm located in Chatsworth, California, is seeking applicants for a part-time or full-time role as a Building and Facilities Maintenance Assistant.

This position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, with part-time hours ranging from 20 to 30 per week or full-time hours from 30 to 40 per week. The daily operating hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, featuring a single shift. Occasional overtime may be required.

Position Details

The starting wage is $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience and skill level.

Job responsibilities may encompass:

• Cleaning and maintaining mixing and filling machinery
• Assisting with preparation for or support during various construction projects
• Cleaning or helping to maintain assorted tools and equipment

Required experience in one or more of these areas:

• Plumbing
• Electrical work
• Painting
• Flooring
• Painting, patching, or drywall
• General building maintenance
• General welding

Additional experience in the following would be advantageous but is not required:

• Setup, installation, or maintenance of liquid filling machines
• Automobile or truck mechanic skills
• Stainless steel TIG welding

Benefits and Advancement

The company provides six paid holidays, effective after 90 days of employment. Paid personal time begins at one week after one year of service and increases to two weeks after three years.
