Painter Lead Position
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Pay: $25 to $27 per hour
We are in search of an experienced Painter Lead to supervise painting activities and guarantee superior finishes on diverse parts and assemblies. This is a practical role ideal for an individual with robust technical knowledge and prior leadership experience within a painting facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily painting tasks and provide support to team members.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying solvent treatments.
- Mask and shield surfaces prior to painting.
- Safely place and remove parts from paint racks.
- Blend and apply primers and paints, including gloss, semi-gloss, and flat finishes, according to specifications.
- Handle spray equipment and operate curing ovens.
- Perform visual quality checks to maintain standards.
- Keep paint booth equipment in good order and maintain a tidy, safe work area.
- Encourage ongoing improvement and compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Five to ten years of experience in a paint shop environment, with a preference for aerospace or automotive backgrounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a dedication to quality.
- Proficient in mixing and applying various paint types.
- Capable of interpreting blueprints and work order documents.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to successfully complete respiratory fit and pulmonary function tests if necessary.
Painter Assistant Position
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with optional overtime.
Pay: $18 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Help with surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, washing, and masking.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic upkeep of painting equipment.
- Clean and organize the work area and tools after use.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear mandated personal protective equipment.
- Communicate clearly with the team to ensure efficient, high-quality outcomes.
- Accurately record materials used and tasks finished.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous painting or related experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Fundamental knowledge of painting tools and methods.
- Able to follow directions and work well independently or collaboratively.
- Strong focus on detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Physical capability to stand, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.
