The successful candidate must be capable of interpreting technical drawings, performing machine setups, operating the equipment, and conducting part inspections. About the Position:

Our manufacturing team is in search of a proficient operator for Warner & Swasey 5-Spindle Automatic Machines. The ideal person for this role will possess practical, hands-on experience in configuring, running, and performing upkeep on Warner & Swasey multi-spindle automatic machines to fabricate precise metal components that meet all specified requirements.

Key Duties:

• Configure and manage Warner & Swasey 5-spindle automatic screw machines.
• Interpret and understand blueprints, work orders, and manufacturing drawings.
• Modify machine feeds, speeds, and tooling setups to ensure optimal efficiency and part quality.
• Carry out quality checks utilizing micrometers, calipers, and various gauges.
• Diagnose operational problems with machinery and conduct basic maintenance tasks when necessary.
• Keep the work area tidy and safe, adhering to all established company protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with production and engineering staff to achieve output targets.

Required Qualifications:

• At least three years of hands-on experience operating Warner & Swasey or comparable multi-spindle automatic machines.
• Solid mechanical understanding and proven problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measurement instruments.
• Knowledge of metal cutting processes and tooling applications.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a meticulous approach to work.
• Capable of lifting items weighing up to 100 lbs and remaining on feet for prolonged durations.
