We are seeking a skilled individual proficient in manual soldering to become a member of our electronics production team located in Carson, CA. Our organization focuses on the creation of flexible circuits and printed circuit boards for use in aerospace and other demanding, high-reliability sectors. This role is centered on the precise manual soldering of miniature electronic parts and circuit assemblies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute meticulous hand soldering on flexible and rigid-flex circuit boards.
- Assemble components by adhering to provided work instructions and technical drawings.
- Operate specialized small tools, including soldering irons, tweezers, cutters, and microscopes.
- Conduct inspections of assembled units to ensure quality and correctness.
- Keep the work area clean, orderly, and compliant with electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety protocols.
- Follow all established company and industry quality standards, such as IPC guidelines.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in PCB or electronic soldering is desirable. An IPC certification is considered an advantage.
- Possess a steady hand, a keen eye for detail, and good visual acuity.
- Capable of understanding basic technical drawings or written instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to collaborate effectively within a small team setting.
- This position requires on-site work in Carson; it is not a remote opportunity.
Compensation: $22.50 per hour
Work Schedule: Full-time or part-time options are available.
