The Position

We are seeking an experienced Balloon Décor Artist and Installer to construct, transport, and set up premium balloon arrangements on location. You will collaborate with our design and operations staff to implement flawless, photo-ready installations within strict deadlines, all while upholding our elevated quality benchmarks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Construct complex décor pieces such as garlands, arches, columns, balloon walls, ceiling installations, and sculptures with accuracy under time constraints.
• Safely move balloons, support structures, and equipment using a commercial vehicle; load and unload materials at both the warehouse and event venues.
• Set up and dismantle decorations at various locations including hotels, offices, private residences, and convention centers.
• Adhere to provided design plans, color schemes, and brand guidelines; troubleshoot issues that arise during installations.
• Maintain an orderly inventory, toolkit, and work area.
• Deliver adaptable and polished customer service while on site.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrable previous experience in professional balloon decoration and installation is mandatory.
• Excellent technical skill; proficiency in inflation techniques, sizing, tying, clustering, frame assembly, rigging, and adhesion methods.
• Capable of lifting 40 to 50 pounds, standing for extended durations, and working from ladders or scaffolding as necessary.
• Fluent English language skills are required; Spanish language ability is beneficial.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have consistent access to reliable transportation.
• Punctual, meticulous, and composed in high-pressure situations; maintains a professional attitude when interacting with clients and venue staff.

Compensation and Schedule

• Attractive hourly wage plus overtime when applicable; potential for gratuities and performance bonuses.
• Employment arrangement as either a 1099 contractor or W-2 employee will be determined through discussion.
• Flexible working hours that vary according to the event calendar; availability on weekends, early mornings, or late evenings is frequently necessary.
