Are you seeking a meaningful way to contribute? Fostering a dog is an incredibly fulfilling experience. Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue specializes in saving dogs of all breeds from high-risk shelters before they face euthanasia. We place these dogs into caring foster homes where they can stay until they are adopted by a permanent family.

AXEL

4 years old, Male, Lab/Aussie/Shepherd Mix. He is playful, affectionate, and eager to learn. Axel is high-energy, loving, and athletic. He gets along well with other dogs, is leash trained, and housebroken. He can become mouthy during playful overexcitement and experiences some separation anxiety; he may not be the best match for first-time dog owners. \"He simply needs someone who will be patient and consistent. Axel is intelligent, responsive, and craves stable care and routine.\"

Requires an immediate foster home with a commitment to ongoing training support, for which we provide guidance.

Our rescue operates entirely through a foster network—we do not have a physical shelter. This means we can only save more dogs if we have more foster volunteers. At this time, we have an urgent need for compassionate, dependable individuals in the Los Angeles area to help us save lives.

We supply all necessary food, materials, and veterinary care. You provide a secure, loving environment and help teach these dogs what it means to be loved and cared for. This is not a conventional job; it is a chance for dog enthusiasts to receive compensation for their dedicated time and effort in caring for a dog.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have obtained full approval from landlords, roommates, family members, etc. Please only contact us if you are completely certain you can welcome a dog into your household.
• Must be available to attend adoption events and supply pickups at the Petco in West Hollywood every other Saturday. Attendance is mandatory.
• Must be able to transport the dog to and from veterinary appointments as required.
• Must be willing to commit to a minimum fostering period of 4 weeks. If you can only assist short-term (from a few days up to one week), we still welcome your inquiry—please get in touch.
