JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Control Associate will help with sorting, testing, and preparing reusable IT equipment for new purposes, ensuring all materials are processed in an environmentally responsible way. Further duties involve testing mobile phone hardware, performing data entry, and organizing devices for resale. This role is open for an immediate start. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Disassemble pallets of customer IT equipment and sort by hardware type.
• Scan incoming items into the inventory tracking system.
• Charge devices, perform spot checks, and prepare them for software diagnostics.
• Test mobile phones and perform secure data erasure.
• Inspect each item and assign a cosmetic grade.
• Carry out data entry within the inventory management system.
• Maintain precise inventory records and consistently demonstrate careful attention to detail.
• Keep the work area tidy and safe while seeking to improve process efficiency.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Adhere to established quality control standards, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Accurately report all IT assets into the computer system.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Possession of a high school diploma is mandatory.
2. Ability to routinely lift and move items weighing 10 to 50 pounds.
3. Foundational computer proficiency.
4. An interest in technology, mobile devices, and computers.
5. Must successfully pass a standard background screening.
6. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
