We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Clerk to become a part of our team. Our business is a family-owned retail and wholesale operation that has been providing tools, housewares, and general merchandise for over four decades. The perfect candidate will be reliable, personable, and driven, with a genuine enjoyment of public interaction and a commitment to delivering superior service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming and helping shoppers on the sales floor.
• Develop thorough product knowledge to respond to inquiries and offer personalized suggestions.
• Handle sales transactions with precision and speed, operating both a cash register and a credit card terminal.
• Support general store operations, such as replenishing inventory, arranging products, and ensuring the sales area remains neat and organized.
• Occasionally assist with tasks that may involve lifting and helping to load or unload delivery vehicles.

Qualifications

• Fundamental mathematics and computer proficiency.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
