Our company is now recruiting for Armed Security Guard positions at medical cannabis retail locations and other sites.

We ask that you refrain from contacting us to negotiate a higher wage based on your training or background. The rate offered is fixed by our client agreements. Position Details

Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Hours Available

Schedule Requirement: Must be available to work weekends as required by the schedule.

Start Date: Must be available to begin immediately.

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Training: Paid training is provided.

Applicants must be available to work day and night shifts on weekends.

Example Shift Schedules

• Day Shift: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Available)
• Night Shift: 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM (1 Shift Available)

Shifts are 12 hours per day, typically for 5 days each week.

Primary Locations: Arcadia, La Puente, and Covina areas.

Opportunities for additional hours are frequently available.

Mandatory Credentials

You must possess an active California Guard Card and a valid Exposed Firearm Permit at the time of your application. These permits must be in your physical possession.

Compensation is distributed weekly in cash.

We reiterate: please do not inquire about a higher pay rate. Our pay structure is determined by our contracts. If another company offers a superior wage, we advise you to accept that position.

Overview

We are looking for individuals with solid to advanced security knowledge, who recognize the critical importance of vigilance and safety. Candidates must demonstrate strong professional ethics and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. The standard work week ranges from 42 to 84 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
2. Welcome customers and build positive relationships.
3. Observe and monitor CCTV surveillance systems.
4. Follow established procedures diligently and help preserve a professional, secure setting for both customers and team members.
5. Ensure the work area is kept tidy and organized.
6. Complete all tasks delegated by management promptly and effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid California identification.
• Previous retail sales experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cannabis varieties (indica, sativa, hybrids), edible products, extracts, and current market offerings.
• Prior experience in a dispensary setting is a plus.
• Must be personable, positive, reliable, conscientious, and diligent.
• Must deliver outstanding customer service and represent the company with a sense of pride.
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to assigned locations.
