Experienced Collision Repair Body Technician / Body Man (Hawthorne)

Applicants must be available to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Proficiency in English and possession of a valid California Driver\'s License are mandatory.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in operating a frame machine.
• Hold I-CAR certification for body repair.
• Hold I-CAR certification for welding.
• Understand vehicle repair procedures as specified by manufacturers.
• Skilled in analyzing and interpreting measurement data.
• Capable of overseeing and managing repair staff.
• Technicians must be competent in repairing a diverse range of automobiles, trucks, vans, and other vehicles requiring service.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• The primary duty of a Body Technician is to restore vehicles damaged in accidents to their pre-collision state, adhering to industry benchmarks and original manufacturer specifications.
• Must execute high-quality repairs efficiently, with a constant focus on customer satisfaction.
• Responsibilities include straightening deformed vehicle frames, removing dents, and replacing parts that are beyond repair.
• Technicians will employ specialized tools and equipment to repair damaged metal frames and body sections.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential physical demands for this role include:

• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and perform pulling motions.
• Capacity to remain in positions such as kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping for prolonged durations.
• Ability to carry and lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Capability for prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
• Performing tasks involving repetitive movements.
