Part Time IT Expert Needed! (El Cajon)

About This Job

We are seeking a part-time, on-call specialist in information technology, software, computers, and mobile devices. Our compact office, located in El Cajon, requires an individual available for support as needed, primarily Monday through Friday. The anticipated workload is approximately three to five hours per week, documented as required. A majority of this work can be performed remotely. When an on-site visit is necessary, you are welcome to arrive during our standard business hours, which are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Our support needs include:

• Configuring new desktop computers and laptops.
• Providing support for company-issued iPhones and Android devices.
• Assisting with password resets and account lockouts on Windows systems.
• Aiding with software installation and updates.
• Procuring and setting up new hardware equipment.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting camera and surveillance system connectivity.
• Supporting the dispatch unit with all electronic devices, including microphones and two-way radios.
• Installing and configuring printers, along with other standard office software applications.
