Independent Contractor Delivery Driver Position Using Personal Minivan, Cargo Van, or Sprinter
This is an independent contractor (W9) role. The position is advertised as \"Delivery Driver with Your Vehicle - Conductor de Entregas con tu Vehiculo\".
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Be prepared to start work between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
- Operate your personal vehicle, which must be an SUV, minivan, cargo van, or high-roof cargo van/Sprinter.
- Pick up assigned loads and organize them efficiently within your vehicle.
- Ensure all packages are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Safely deliver small and medium-sized parcels to their destinations.
- Obtain recipient signatures for deliveries when required.
- Follow all established company and client policies and procedures.
Schedule
Work hours are Monday through Sunday, beginning at 6:00 AM and continuing until the daily route is completed.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California driver\'s license.
- Applicant must be at least 20 years old.
- Must own a vehicle that is in good working order, properly insured, and presentable.
- Ability to lift items weighing 35 pounds or more.
- Capable of communicating in English; fluency is not mandatory.
- Must be comfortable driving in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation on a smartphone or tablet.
- Must have a valid Social Security Number (SSN), Employer Identification Number (EIN), or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
