VIDEO EDITOR AND FILMMAKER (Santa Monica – $25 Per Hour Cash – On-Site Only – Immediate Hire)

An entrepreneur managing several expanding brands is seeking a part-time video editor who is also capable of filming. This role is strictly on-site in Santa Monica; remote work is not an option now or later. Only apply if you are available to work from our office two to three days each week.

We are in the process of preparing to film the pilot episode for a recently rebranded YouTube channel. The content will center on:

• Authentic, behind-the-scenes personal growth

The channel is genuine and high-energy, dedicated to showcasing the real process of building a business, improving health, personal development, and the hard work of achieving success from the ground up.

We are searching for an individual who is enthusiastic about editing and filmmaking and desires to develop alongside our team. We are prepared to invest in the right candidate.

COMPENSATION (INITIAL FIXED RATE):

• $25 per hour in cash to begin (this rate is non-negotiable for the initial period)
• Two to three days per week
• Opportunities for long-term advancement, performance bonuses, and potential profit-sharing as we grow together

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Film the entrepreneur in the office setting (including talking-head segments, lifestyle shots, and walkthroughs)
• Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
• Assist in launching and defining the new channel from its inception
• Provide editing support for several existing channels
• Incorporate captions, graphics, and pacing to create modern, clean storytelling
• Organize and manage video footage
• Utilize our in-office editing suite and basic equipment, which includes a phone, gimbal, drone, and lighting. Having your own DSLR camera is advantageous.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient editing skills using software such as Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, or CapCut
• Ability to film using a phone with a gimbal or a DSLR camera
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to details
• Must be able to work on-site in Santa Monica without exception
• Comfortable being around a dog
• A strong interest in entrepreneurship, self-improvement, lifestyle, or creative media is highly desirable
