AI4IP is a compact yet dynamic team of six, dedicated to developing advanced generative AI software tailored for expert AI users, sports organizations, and brand partners. We also specialize in crafting bespoke, AI-driven experiences for the sports, music, and retail sectors.

UI Designer / Developer

We are seeking a UI Designer/Developer capable of taking product concepts, designing them in Figma, and then implementing them using React, Tailwind, HTML, and CSS. This role serves as the vital link between design and engineering, requiring a genuine hybrid creative who can conceptualize, design, and code.

You will report directly to our CEO, who also functions as head of product and lead engineer, and will work in close collaboration with the team to build rapidly, deploy frequently, and produce elegant, high-impact work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing user interfaces and workflows in Figma.
• Building those designs in React, Tailwind, HTML, and CSS.
• Engaging in daily collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Rapidly iterating based on feedback and visual refinements.
• Utilizing AI tools such as Claude and Figma AI to accelerate design and development processes.

The ideal candidate:

• Is a balanced hybrid designer-developer.
• Possesses experience in designing and building live products or web applications.
• Is proficient in Figma and modern front-end technology stacks.
• Is based in the United States, with a preference for Los Angeles or Southern California, though remote work is possible.
• Enjoys experimenting with AI tools and creative technologies.

This is a full-time position offering a salary plus equity. The work model is hybrid, primarily remote with a preference for candidates in the Los Angeles area.
