Kids Artistic Revue, Inc. (KAR) is a professional production company that stages more than 200 live dance events each year throughout the United States. As one of the country\'s most prominent organizers of dance competitions and conventions, we offer a stage to more than 500,000 dancers every year.

Our operations also include producing dance conventions, award ceremonies, multimedia projects, apparel lines, and charitable initiatives that support the dance community. Position: Videographer

We are looking for a skilled, dynamic, and positive Videographer to become a member of our national touring crew. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, excels in high-energy live settings, and can handle extended weekend schedules with minimal rest.

Responsibilities

• Load, set up, and dismantle video production gear (must be capable of lifting 20 pounds).
• Record superior-quality video of all dance performances during competitions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and interact positively with attendees at events.
• Help with sales and promotional activities for products as required.
• Communicate inventory and supply requirements to Event Directors.
• Keep the work area neat and orderly.
• Travel is necessary from Thursday evening through Monday morning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with digital video equipment, such as:
  1. Sony PXW-Z150
  2. Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio Mini
  3. Digital NTSC monitors, fluid head tripods, and camera risers
• Experience with gaffing or lighting setup is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational and collaborative abilities.
• Must have availability to travel from Thursday to Monday.
• A valid government-issued ID or passport is mandatory.
• Ability to work extended hours, averaging 25 to 40 hours per weekend.

Compensation

Pay varies with experience, ranging from $200 to $1000 per event.

Hourly rate is between $16 and $18 per hour.

The season commences in February 2026.
