Liposuction Training Seeks Volunteer Models

The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery (AAAMS) is looking for individuals to volunteer as patient models for a practical liposuction training session. The program will focus on the abdominal or back regions and is scheduled to take place in the Los Angeles vicinity. Selected models will undergo the full treatment for a fee of $1,000, a significant reduction from the standard rate of $6,000. This cost includes all necessary materials, pharmaceutical supplies, and subsequent post-operative care appointments.

Program Overview

The practical training will be conducted under the direct guidance of Dr. Sam Assassa, M.D. Dr. Assassa is a board-certified aesthetic medicine specialist and serves as an international instructor for AAAMS. The liposuction will be performed using local anesthetic. Recovery time is typically brief, with most individuals able to resume their normal work routines after just a few days.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Body Mass Index (BMI) should fall between 25 and 35.
• Candidates must be in good general health without any significant medical concerns.
• The treatment area must not have undergone any prior surgical procedures.
• Volunteers must agree to provide formal medical consent and permit photographic documentation.
