About This Service

Are you interested in taking lessons for guitar, bass, ukulele, singing, or songwriting? Perhaps you\'d like guidance in music production and recording? Or maybe your goal is simply to improve your overall musical abilities?

My name is Blake Baldwin, and I am here to serve as your musical mentor. I conduct in-person sessions at my home music studio located in the South Bay area. However, if you are not local, there is no need to worry—lessons are also available through Zoom.

I possess more than a decade of teaching experience, both in private settings and with various musical organizations such as the Cal Arts CAP program, Sunset Learning Studio, artworx LA, and Long Lake Camp for the Arts. I offer private and group music instruction and am proficient in nearly every style of rock and pop music, ranging from pop and indie to classic rock, blues, and even death metal.

A bit about my background:

I am a multi-instrumentalist session musician, singer-songwriter, and composer. I hold a 2014 MFA from the Herb Alpert School of Music\'s distinctive Performer/Composer program. Since my graduation, I have provided performances and arrangements for a wide array of collaborative projects and have performed extensively throughout the Southwest and West Coast.

All ages and skill levels are welcome. I teach individuals as well as groups and bands. Lesson durations are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute increments, with discounted rates offered for bulk purchases.
