Hello everyone. My name is Max, a professional guitarist and instructor located in Los Angeles. I am currently accepting a limited number of students for guitar lessons.

I am a graduate of the University of Southern California and possess over two decades of playing experience, complemented by thirteen years of teaching guitar. My instructional background includes private, online, and classroom environments. Additionally, I previously served as the second-in-command at Marty Music, which is the largest guitar instruction channel on YouTube.

I provide instruction for students of all ages and skill levels. Each lesson plan is customized according to the individual\'s musical goals and personal interests.

For Beginners

If you are just starting out, I will have you creating music in your very first session. My approach challenges the idea that guitar playing is reserved only for those with innate talent or a natural musical inclination.

Music Theory Instruction

Interested in learning music theory? I explain the fundamental concepts of what I refer to as \"functional music theory.\" My goal is to clarify and simplify these principles so you can effectively apply them to your playing.

Songwriting Guidance

Do you want to write songs? I completed extensive songwriting studies during my university years. I have authored hundreds of songs for television and commercials, and have collaborated with multiplatinum songwriters, major record labels, and Grammy-winning producers. I am well-equipped to assist you in this area as well.
