About This Service

Engage in a complimentary, no-obligation discussion with a business mentor. This introductory call is very likely to provide you with interesting and profitable insights.

Following that, you have the option to enroll in ongoing mentorship. I guarantee that the value you gain will significantly outweigh my fees. This assurance is backed by a flexible arrangement: there is no long-term commitment. If your business does not progress to your satisfaction, you can discontinue our partnership immediately.

About Your Mentor

My name is Jeff Napier. I am the founder of twelve ventures spanning retail, entertainment, technology, coaching, and consulting. There, you can explore 88 business concepts—numerous requiring no time, experience, or capital—alongside strategies and methods for established businesses.

My advisory services cover advertising, free publicity, social media marketing, retail operations, website development, employee and customer relations, and crucially, how to launch your own business from the ground up without risking your life savings.

Should the need arise, I can also connect you with reliable and skilled website developers, SEO specialists, marketers, artists, or consultants in specialized fields.

I am typically available during standard business hours. You are welcome to call, text, or email me anytime at (805) 843-5353. If I am unavailable when you contact me, I will respond promptly.

Investment Structure

Please do not be concerned about costs after our free initial consultation. I will structure fees reasonably for your situation. As your business expands and you can comfortably afford more, my rates will adjust accordingly.

Mentorship vs. Coaching

I refer to myself as a mentor rather than a coach for specific reasons. Unlike a conventional business coach, I do not require you to adhere to a rigid weekly schedule. I do not charge for large, upfront packages. Our conversations are not bound to hour-long sessions. You may contact me whenever you wish. Our discussions might last five minutes or an hour, and we might connect daily, weekly, or as matters arise.

You will appreciate my friendly and informative approach and will likely be surprised by unexpected insights. The financial return on your business will far exceed my cost.

My Background

I established my first business, a retail bicycle shop, in 1974. I began with $400, a basic set of tools, and six used bicycles. Within five years, it grew into the city\'s largest professional bicycle shop.

Even during that period, I served as a coach and mentor, teaching general bicycle repair, wheel building, and frame building during the winter months.

After five years, I sold the bicycle shop, purchased a motorhome, and began traveling across the United States.

During my travels, I coached two other bicycle shop owners from the brink of failure to success. One shop was $140,000 in debt. It recovered and remains in operation 44 years later.

I encountered a professional juggler, and a year later, I also became a juggler, performing fire and knife comedy juggling shows in San Diego, Philadelphia, and Waikiki, and making a brief appearance in a Warner Brothers film.

I once discovered a programming language called Turbo Pascal at a garage sale for $15. It took a year to learn, after which I began writing software. I eventually created a program distributed through Walmart, Sears, Kmart, Office Depot, and other retailers, which sold a quarter-million copies.

My journey continued through several other businesses. One was a media exchange, similar to a library but requiring no membership card and having no due dates. Patrons could borrow as many books, CDs, and DVDs as they wanted. To sustain the operation, I also accepted donations of unwanted media. Donations far exceeded borrowings. Some items, like a book on underwater welding, held little interest for the general public but could be valued at over $100 online. Consequently, such books were sold online. At its peak, my employees and I had 29,000 books listed on Amazon, Abe Books, and Alibris.

Website creation became a focus. With my programming background, I not only built websites but also assisted others with deep customization and technical problem-solving.

A major challenge many clients faced was managing the businesses for which the websites were built. Thus, I evolved into a mentor, guiding these clients with best practices and techniques for success, even in remarkably challenging markets.

However, some individuals were difficult to assist. We all know people who consistently make poor decisions. I discovered a system called NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) that helps people overcome blocks to success in life, relationships, and business. After two years of study, I became a certified master practitioner. This allowed me to help people not only with the practical aspects of their business but also with the underlying reasons why someone who should be successful has not been.

In addition to the above, I have operated a mobile welding business, an RV repair service, an eBay sales operation, and more recently, have coached intermediate and advanced pickleball.

Today, I offer a complete package. I understand most forms of business and possess a wide array of strategies to enhance business success. Contact me whenever you are ready to achieve more. You will benefit from my friendly and informative style.
