I am a professional writer and editor with over twenty-five years of experience in the educational sector. The majority of my career was spent at the University of California, where I specialized in writing and editing admissions materials and application publications. For the past decade, I have successfully assisted hundreds of high school, community college, and graduate students, both in private practice and through institutions like Berkeley High School, College Track, and First Graduate. My work involves collaborating with students to develop and refine their UC Personal Insight Questions, Common Application essays, supplemental essays, activities lists, and other related assignments. I possess a deep understanding of this field and, most importantly, I take great pleasure in helping students discover their genuine voice to reach their academic and professional aspirations.

I am proficient with all major videoconferencing platforms, allowing all meetings and editing work to be conducted online. I am also available for in-person consultations. Following one or two complimentary initial discussions, my standard rate is $50 per hour. I offer a twenty percent discount for students applying for financial aid.
