I collaborate closely with a premier New York City literary agency that solicits manuscripts to the top five New York publishing houses: Simon and Schuster, Penguin Random House, MacMillan Publishers, Harper Collins, and Hachette Book Group. None of these publishers accept unsolicited submissions. I will submit your completed manuscript for publication consideration at no additional cost, and a published book represents a tangible asset.

Financial Terms and Process

I do not claim any royalties or ownership percentage. You are the sole author, retaining 100% ownership and royalty rights to the formatted manuscript I develop from your notes. Should a published manuscript be adapted into a film—which has occurred with some works after publication—you maintain full control over all royalties and ownership.

My flat monthly fee is $1800 (non-negotiable) for the duration of writing and preparing the manuscript for publication consideration. The $1800 retainer is due upon signing the Ghostwriter-Author Agreement; subsequent monthly payments of $1800 are due on the same calendar date each consecutive month until the manuscript is finished and ready for submission to the literary agency. Every effort is made to adhere to agreed-upon deadlines to minimize cost. A typical 250-page formatted manuscript, as required by publishers, takes me a minimum of four months to write, edit, and format; exceeding 260 pages will extend the timeline. The submission package for the New York literary agency, which includes a query letter and proposal as per their requirements, is assembled in the final weeks.

You need not concern yourself with executing these elements—that is my specialized craft, an art form honed over years. One does not simply write haphazardly and hope for a successful outcome.
