College Applications Are Due Soon! Personalized Advisor & Essay Editor (West LA)
About This Service
College application deadlines are approaching, but there is still time to create a polished and compelling submission. Early applications for most state and private universities are typically due between November and January, with University of California applications due by December 1st. Scheduling assistance now ensures adequate time to draft, refine, and present the strongest possible candidate narrative.
As an independent college advisor and essay editor, I am prepared to assist with every stage of the application process. A knowledgeable advisor can clarify the increasingly complex admissions landscape, ensure applications are comprehensive, mitigate deadline-related stress, ease family pressures, and bolster a student\'s excitement for their future.
If your essay has only been reviewed by friends or family, objective external feedback can be invaluable. Many students inadvertently draft essays that may signal unreliability or immaturity to admissions committees. It is crucial to craft an essay that instead positions you as a promising and capable candidate for the university.
I am pleased to work with students on any single component of the process or to provide support from beginning to end. Both individual sessions and multi-session packages are available. Services I provide include:
- Researching and evaluating institutions to identify optimal matches for a student\'s academic profile and goals.
- Securing compelling letters of recommendation from busy teachers and coaches.
- Offering guidance on standardized testing, atypical academic records, and scholarship opportunities.
- Developing persuasive descriptions of activities and awards, along with expanded resumes, to promote a coherent personal identity.
- Writing and revising the Common Application personal statement, school-specific supplemental essays, and UC personal insight questions to avoid common errors and instead forge a genuine connection with admissions readers.
- Organizing and tracking task lists, test scores, transcripts, and other materials to complete applications thoroughly and meet deadlines without last-minute panic.
I offer a more personalized, flexible, and affordable experience than large consulting programs or online tutoring companies—providing precisely what you need without unnecessary extras. Reply to this advertisement by email to initiate contact.
