Initial Steps and Communication

After our preliminary phone discussion, we will arrange a meeting via Skype or an in-person interview at Starbucks. We will maintain clear channels of communication, and our agreement will include a mutual exit clause should the partnership not yield positive results. I exclusively work with committed individuals. My schedule is heavily occupied with multiple writing commitments, and I must protect my time, which is only fair to myself and my other clients. We will jointly create a realistic timetable, and I will deliver your book accordingly. My interest is confined to my professional fee; you retain all rights to any characters and scenarios developed.

Fees and Availability

My rate is fifteen cents per word. For novel projects, I also require a commencement deposit of fifteen hundred dollars, but only after we have met and established mutual accountability. Our collaboration will proceed with complete openness and transparency, dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for your novel. I am available for phone calls on weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM and am consistently accessible via email for replies. For clients based in Los Angeles, periodic in-person meetings can be arranged. For those outside LA, I am available on Skype and will maintain weekly Skype sessions until your project is finalized.
