Resident Manager for an Apartment Building (Van Nuys)

About This Job

We are seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of resident manager for a 45-unit apartment complex located in the Valley. This position provides compensation in the form of a one-bedroom apartment at a 50% discount from the market rental rate. The building is relatively new and features amenities including a gym and a swimming pool.

Compensation & Benefits

• An average of four hours of paid salary per day, for a five-day work week.
• One week of paid vacation annually.
• A monthly cell phone allowance.
• A car and gas allowance.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be proficient in using apartment management software. Necessary experience includes:

1. Renting vacant apartments.
2. Collecting and depositing rental payments.
3. Addressing tenant inquiries and maintenance concerns by escalating them to the appropriate maintenance department.
4. Serving official notices to tenants.
