Job Description:
In the role of a budtender, you will assist customers in navigating our product selection, respond to inquiries, offer suggestions, and guarantee each visitor leaves with a knowledgeable and satisfying visit. This position requires adherence to compliance standards, following established procedures, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of cannabis varieties, products, and usage techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and help customers with a courteous and professional attitude
- Educate customers on products and suggest options aligned with their preferences
- Handle transactions precisely and ensure point-of-sale data is correct
- Abide by all state cannabis laws and internal dispensary guidelines
- Keep the work area tidy and orderly
- Restock items and manage inventory organization
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess valid identification
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or the cannabis industry is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal communication and people skills
- Capacity to remain composed and constructive in a busy customer-facing setting
- Dependable, on-time, and collaborative
- Available to work on weekends and holidays
